Respected Guru Maharaja,

Hare Krsna! Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Your Divine Grace.

Guru Maharaja, on this most auspicious occasion, we feel blessed, fortunate and grateful to have abundantly received extremely valuable and rare gifts.

To measure and express the abundance, value and rarity of these is way beyond our limited capacity. At the same time, we also have the fortune to be trained and assisted to observe our desires and existing disqualifications, to factually realise our insignificant and dependent position. When we compare the reality of our current position with the magnitude of gifts bestowed upon us, we simply fall at your feet with eyes full of tears, heart filled with gratitude and aspirations to serve you.

At this stage, we beg at your feet to purify our hearts so that we can serve you and the Lord better. Please remove the resistance in our hearts and fill it with humility, faith, dependence and gratitude so that we could serve in a favourable manner. Please grant us the strength to say no to our lower nature. Please grant us the vision to see Lord Jagannatha, Srila Prabhupada, Your Divine Grace, Jagadananda Prabhu, Ananda Vrndavana Mataji and other Vaisnavas in the appropriate perspective and always be subservient to their desires and instructions.
