Dear Gurudeva,

Please accept our humble obeisance. All glories to Sirla Prabhupada. All glories to His holiness Romapada Swami.

Maharaja it has been another year for us to celebrate your Vyasa-puja celebration. Your Vyasa-puja celebration means a lot to the devotees and ourselves as well. Maharaja I dont have much to say right now, but you have been an inspiration in my life since the day I met you, and you became my spiritual master. Thank you Gurudev for taking care and guiding us on our path in this material life. Thank you once again.

A guru is a person who is regarded as a having great knowledge, wisdom and authority in certain areas and uses it to guide others. GU means darkness and RU means distroyer of. Literally, Guru means a preceptor who distroyes ignorance [darkness] by teaching pure knowledge, guides us and brings light in this material darkness. The spiritual master must be one who is fully realized in the Vedas. We are very fortunate to be under your shelter and guidance. We are very fortunate to have your love and mercy. We are very fortunate that you are our guide, showing us the path towards Lord Krsna. Thank you dearest Guru Maharaja for taking these fallen souls under your shelter. Maharaja I only pray that these few lines reach you in the best of health and strength so that you can carry on with your mission to teach Krsna Consciousness whereever your presence is welcome.

Thank you Gurudeva. May this short offering reach you in good health. Thank You. Hare Krsna,

Your servant,
Madhava Gopinatha dasa, Saci devi dasi and Sandiya
