Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances in the dust of your lotus feet. All glories unto you. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Guru Maharaja, last year I made a Vyasa-puja offering to you to go further in my dedication and service mood in order to treasure and nurture devotee relationships, participate in sankirtana festivals, extend myself as a small particle in Your preaching mission, serve vaisnavas, cultivate deep humility, go deeper in chanting the holy name and increase my surrender to You, to Srila Prabhupada and to the Lord. Guru Maharaja, I can say that this past year I got many opportunities to serve, to render vaisnava seva, to participate in sankirtana festivals, to make sincere attempts to nurture devotee relationships, to chant the holy name attentively and to cultivate humility. Your teachings act on my conscious and subconscious mind such that I am beginning to understand the meaning and mood of service. I am also understanding that any desires expressed sincerely to pure devotees of the Lord do not go in vain. You are a kalpataru and a krpa-sindhu. Please accept repeated obeisances from this fallen conditioned soul. I thank you very much, pray for the same mood and continue to make attempts to please you, Srila Prabhupada and the Lord in the forthcoming year.

For the past few months there has been a constant endeavor on my side to try to assess a particular situation that occurs in my life repeatedly. Mistrust, faithlessness and judgment from the world around constantly lingers. I try miserably to control and manipulate the situation. However, I am realizing that your teachings act so powerfully and in such a subtle way on my consciousness that I, somehow or other, accept these situations. I am realizing that by submitting to my authorities and following their instructions, my acceptance of the situations, people and circumstances that come in my life is increasing with the understanding that Krsna has kindly arranged this for me today for my purification, based on what I desired and deserve. He has kindly reduced the impact of reaction also, so I can handle it. That Krsna has given it to me means I can handle it. He has kindly arranged it for me so I can remember Him and make progress. It’s very profound to realize that every opportunity is an opportunity to make progress in Krsna consciousness. This keeps me completely sheltered and protected under your mercy. Thank you, Guru Maharaja.

Your vapu association is very precious and limited for me as I try to make every endeavor to take your vapu association whenever possible. This year, it was our good fortune that we could visit Gita Nagari dhama for the retreat in September, as it was more than a year since we saw you. I am eagerly looking forward to hear your vani from Sri Dvaraka dhama.

I am praying for your good health and ever-increasing sankirtana for long, long years to come.
