Dear Guru Mahārāja,
Hare Krsna. Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you. All glories to Śrīla Prabhupāda.
Mahārāja, on this auspicious day of yours, we humbly ask for your precious blessings to express our heartfelt gratitude for the wonderful gift that we have been receiving throughout the countless years. We cannot comprehend the causeless mercy you have showered on us. This day is just not one day but a year; it is every day, because in this devastating age of Kali-yuga to get an opportunity to be a part of and to practice bhakti yoga is like a diamond to be found in the pile of sand. When the most confusing and confronting situation stares us in the face, it is because of your mercy we can easily perform our daily sadhana. We have received your mercy in the present day of our lives. Thank you for being a part of our lives, we will always have the love for you in our hearts. May the Supreme Lord bless you with a long and healthy life, so that we, as practitioners of Krsna consciousness, can survive in this ocean of material suffering, just by hearing your direct instructions and wisdom.
Dear Maharaja, let me realize. Give me the spark of surrender. Light up my life, let me see the need to help others, let my heart beat strongly for you. Push me into the fray, give me song-ability, capacity to serve, give me greed to want your service more and more. O Mahārāja, allow me to control my tongue, belly, anger, eyes, and mind. Please let me always see your form of divinity and banish the lust of a woman or man’s embrace. I am praying, so that you will grant me devotion unto you.
