Geeta Jagannatha
My Venerable master
My venerable master,
With what courage I could muster
I’ve ventured this glorification With little or no qualification
Suffering in the material ocean
Tossed by waves of ignorance and passion
Looking for elusive satisfaction
There I was – in total illusion
To find a meaning I tried hard
Going after many frauds Getting deluded and sad
Then praying to the Lord
Was it vaisnava’s benediction
Was it my karma’s fruition
Or was it divine intervention
I have no clarification
But somehow I met your grace
And everything fell into place
I stopped useless lamenting
And started ‘Harinam’ chanting
Your profound lectures, pleasing ways
Your concern for us fallen waifs
Perfect answers to queries always
Give me faith, hope and solace
Please grant me this desire O revered Sire !
Let me be a speck of dust Adorning your lotus feet
