Dear Guru Maharaja,

I offer my obeisances to Your lotus feet! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

We haven’t been able to have your personal association for over two years due to the impact of the pandemic and we miss you beyond any description. Your affectionate and kind vision, your enthusiastic and powerful words can purify every soul in the scene.

Dear Guru Maharaja, although the pandemic brings a lot of inconvenience to preaching activities, you teach every disciple by personal example on how to spread “Love for Krsna and love for your spiritual master” with more enthusiasm.

Your enthusiasm is beyond anyone’s imagination and it makes your voice sound more clear and powerful than a young man in his prime. You are never tired because of your enthusiasm and your enthusiastic mood is worthy of being followed by every disciple.

Dear Guru Maharaja, in the past year or so, we had an exaggerated opinion on our abilities and with great enthusiasm prepared to open a new situation for propagating Krsna consciousness in the land of China. Finally, after all this hard work we understood a lot of truths and setbacks.

We managed to gather as many as hundred devotees, but very few of them had a sustained enthusiasm for spreading Krsna consciousness and acted on it. What makes this more horrible is that based on current environment in China, people are generally indifferent and have ‘do not care’ attitude towards public welfare activities.

Dear Guru Maharaja, it is also because devotees generally lack enthusiasm to preach and general public are also not enthusiastic to participate in welfare propagation activities, our outreach programs of Krsna consciousness has been unable to achieve substantial breakthroughs.

To sum up, “lack of enthusiasm” is the key to all propagation problems. Either the propagators or the propagated are habitually in want of enthusiasm. This may be the real reason why China yatra is not able to achieve breakthrough development over the years.

Dear Guru Maharaja, I and Govinda Prabhu have decided to transform preaching Krsna consciousness work into “a regular, paying job, a job that general people can be engaged in enthusiastically” and promote it to the society. In this way, both the devotees and the general public will become more enthusiastic and more willing to participate actively.

Of course, our effort also faces the risk of failing, but our desire to succeed (to create a new situation for spreading Krsna consciousness in China) is motivating us to voluntarily take this risk. We plan to spend three years to put forward this new propagation model with all our strength.

Dear Guru Maharaja, we all know what we are doing is just a small part of your plan. About the propagation work we are trying to do right now, what we still lack the most is “Your inexhaustible enthusiasm”. We need your blessings; we need you to bestow upon us your inexhaustible enthusiasm.
