Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

This year we have been reflecting on our fantastic fortune. All gifted by you!

No matter what transpires in our lives and around us, we have the opulence of worshipping the Deity form of the Lord every morning. Then there are our beautiful beads that you gifted us at our initiations with the Holy Name! This gift to have the opportunity to connect and be with Krsna at the drop of a hat is something that has saved us on multiple occasions from feeling disheartened.

You are so expert at giving us systematic and carefully considered presentations of hari-katha. This helps us sharpen our intelligence and deepen our faith in the process of spiritual development that Srila Prabhupada brought for us.

Then there is the indispensable love, warmth, and guidance of Nityananda Pran Prabhu and Hemangi Mataji in our lives, that we would not trade for anything! They have always put us and others before themselves, despite the most challenging circumstances that may come before them. The beautiful phase of life we are in now as parents has been one of the most precious gifts, they have given us and we are experiencing a whole new dimension in our practice of spiritual life.

We feel your spiritual love for us and Krsna’s presence in our lives thanks to all these opulences that make us so fortunate.

We feel eager in our current and planned services to stay present, feel gratitude towards Guru and Krsna, and serve Srila Prabhupada’s mission in a way beyond our comfort zone. On this most special day for us, we beg for your blessings that we may lead our lives in a way that Srila Prabhupada is pleased.
