Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Time flies. I celebrated my eightieth birthday last year. And this birthday was a real wake up call.

The future is now almost all in the past and what is required is detachment from my loved ones, detachment for future dreams, detachment from pieces of my body that are malfunctioning, telling me to get ready.

It is now more than ever before that my gratitude to Srila Prabhupada and to you, for protecting me with REALITY AND TRUTH.

The mood of service is the only reality I can hold on to. I owe this to you. I am forever grateful.
