Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada. 

Today is a special day for all of us; it’s your appearance day—the most auspicious day of our beloved spiritual master who tirelessly works on the instructions of Srila Prabhupada. We heard you say many times “to act as an instrument in the mission of Caitanya Mahaprabhu” and you had made your life perfectly aligned to the mission.

You are a very pragmatic person. A lot of examples can be shared to illustrate it. A few years ago, before installation, when we shared our Deities’ picture that we received from the maker in Vrndavana and asked for your opinion, your answer was, “you are the one who is going to worship; it is more important how you would like Them to be than my likes.” After seeing those pictures, you were delighted and asked us to bring them sooner to US.

You are a caring person. Due to your guidance and blessings, Vachaspathy is doing well in his studies in Canada. Without your mercy, we will be nowhere in our Krsna consciousness. The ability to chant, speak about Krsna are all manifestations of your mercy. We have heard you saying, “Gratitude is the seed of love”. The love and gratitude that you have for your spiritual master is always amazing to us. We are so inspired by this quality and pray that one day we also develop it within ourselves.

On this day, we seek your blessings and prayers to continue in the family of Srila Prabhupada.
