Dear Romapada Swami Gurudeva,
Please accept my humble obeisances on your upcoming auspicious Vyasa-puja day.
Dear Gurudeva, you are a faithful disciple of Srila Prabhupada and our dear spiritual master. You always take shelter of the lotus feet of His Divine Grace and you are very dear to Srila Prabhupada. I am your disciple wishing to take shelter of your lotus feet. I am willing to be a dust under your lotus feet and eternally serve you. You take trouble to spread the teachings of Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu to save us, these ignorant souls to find our way back home. Without your mercy, we will never know who Krsna is. You helped us know Krsna is the cause of all causes, the master of the whole universe, the seed-giving father and we are His part and parcels. Because of our ignorant desires, we have come to this most painful and worst Kali-yuga forgetting who we are, forgetting our Supreme Father Krsna. It is you who opened our eyes and is allowing us to find our way back home. Through your teachings and enlightenment, I understand that the ultimate goal is to Go home! Go home! Return to my original home. I am determined to read and follow your teachings as long as my eyesight allows me to read books. I guarantee to you that I will read Srila Prabhupada’s books every day and listen to your teachings in the form of lecture recordings every day so as to be fully prepared to return home and accumulate capital to go back home.
Now, my physical condition is not good as I fractured my thoracic vertebra and spine. This is also Krsna’s mercy as it helps me to keep distance from mundane persons and to nicely study the scriptures. Since this body is a gift given by Krsna, I must use it for the rest of my life to serve you and Krsna. I will forever bear your teachings in my heart and be worthy of your kindness and high expectations.
Dear Gurudeva, under the present circumstances where one wave of pandemic is coming after another, it is you who instructed us to study Srimad-Bhagavatam Canto 6 chapter 8 Narayana- kavaca to increase our determination in facing and overcoming the pandemic by removing our fear. It turns out that all incarnations, expansions, paraphernalia and weapons of Krsna are protecting us from all directions. He is protecting us externally and internally, on the land and in the sky. Krsna is everywhere, all-pervasive.
Dear Gurudeva, I will learn from pure devotees and show respect to Vaisnavas. I sincerely request you to bless me so that I can become a qualified servant and taste the essence of the holy name! O spiritual master! you are my master birth after birth, only by your mercy, the divine knowledge can be revealed in our hearts; only by your grace, we can surrender with pure devotion to Krsna, obtain krsna-prema and our ignorance can be destroyed.
O, dear spiritual master! I deeply offer my obeisances to you again! Thank You for your weekly lecture and sharing. I am old and useless, cannot remember what I have learned from the scripture and not a good listener as well. Despite these shortcomings I accept all your weekly lectures and sharing as truth and would like to firmly keep my promises to you and Krsna; that is to nicely chant japa every day and consistently read Srila Prabhupada’s books every day. I beg you to give me mercy to be the servant of your servant forever and ever. I am insignificant, please be compassionate to this fallen soul!
