Dearest Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our most humble obeisances. All Glories unto Your Divine Grace! All Glories to Srila Prabhupada!

On this most auspicious day of your appearance, we get to celebrate the many ways in which you’ve touched countless lives around the world. We feel so fortunate and humbled to be counted amongst those special souls who have somehow earned a place in your heart. We are still not sure what we may have done to deserve such grace, but we definitely are not complaining. Instead, we pray from the bottom of our hearts today to never ever desire to leave this loving shelter. We also pray for the strength to be able to become more mature and able to actually reciprocate with the loads of love we are receiving.

Reflecting on our spiritual journey we realized how you arranged for us to have so many unique experiences to receive the special association of devotees from so many different backgrounds and specialties. Through the retreats and yatras we’ve made so many spiritual memories that make the experience of Krsna consciousness real and fun. We were able to pull strength from these memories during these past two very uniquely challenging years. Watching your steadfast example of commitment to Srila Prabhupada, your focused chanting of the holy name, and your careful assimilation of Srimad-Bhagavatam (no matter what chaos was surrounding you) has also been an inspiration. As false shelters fall away, we pray that no matter what happens we may be able to hold on to these real shelters as well as the association of dear devotees.
