My dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and all glories to you!

Dear Guru Maharaja, time flies. Before I know it, we have again come to your appearance day. It’s time to say with deep affection “Happy Birthday!” to you again!

Merciful father, you have firmly followed the instructions of your spiritual master. With affection, you have melted the hearts of the highly materialistic younger generation. Your mercy, humility, forbearance, adherence, good example, in short, your holy qualities are purifying every living entity. You surrender completely to all the arrangements of Krsna. I must say you have set a transcendental and sublime example for us to have deep faith in Krsna consciousness!

Krsna said in the Bhagavad-gita 2.44 that “In the minds of those who are too attached to sense enjoyment and material opulence, and who are bewildered by such things, the resolute determination for devotional service to the Supreme Lord does not take place.”

Dear father, I understand everything is Krsna’s plan and we can do nothing but accept it with calm. However, I can’t do it when difficulties come in my way. I don’t know how to act based on my knowledge. As you said in Sri Manah-siksa verse 5 I’m now doing devotional services drinking the urine of the donkeys!

Merciful father, like the moon, you are showering your causeless mercy by always shining upon the conditioned souls in the material world and guiding them towards a bright path of spiritual practice. I pray to you, merciful father, to shed light on this ignorant daughter so that she can soon get rid of the material attachment. I pray to Lord Balarama to give me spiritual strength so that I can keep going on the path to serving the Lord’s devotees!

Wish Guru Maharaja smooth preaching and good health. Again, my obeisances!

Your stupid daughter,
