Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

I sincerely thank you so much for coming and taking the austerity, sacrifice to connect us to Krsna and teach Krsna consciousness.

When I was studying catuh–sloki verses in the Srimad-Bhagavatam, there was a question asked by Lord Brahma what are His energies and how He interacts with them. 

Lord replies yatha mahanti bhutani [Srimad-Bhagavatam 2.9.35], like material elements namely earth, water, fire, air and ether have their existence separate yet enter into the bodies of all manifested entites similarly Lord has His personal existence separate yet exists with everything created.

It was explained there the Lord is saying that, in relation to material energy my interaction is static but with my spiritual energies I am interacting and reciprocating dynamically. A devotee in the class asked how is that Lord is passive, yet He says He comes in different incarnations to protect and establish religion etc.

Mention was that the Lord’s representative like yourself comes to this world to rescue and connect people to Krsna. Sometimes it’s overwhelming to deal with material energy, then Lord comes to mitigate the distress and does many things like blessing the unqualified material souls like us.

I sincerely thank You for taking so much austerity to come to us and You literally mingle like one among us and yet take us to this inconceivable plane of Krsna consciousness. Also, you take us inconceivably.

You had emphasized many times on reading Srila Prabhupada’s books and instructed its the core for the Krsna consciousness movement to continue. By your mercy there has been a lot of reading and I want to highlight two lessons and the experience when learning those lessons was very magical and mysterious. 

One lesson was that spending more time with Srila Prabhupada’s books – the mood and mission, unity factor among the devotees, His disciples and grand disciples is becoming much clearer. Then the unity factor is becoming much easier to accomplish and it enables to understand and act in relationship with you and devotees.

Second lesson, when reading the scripture, the relationship with guru is also coming becoming clear. Meaning, the misgivings and doubts are clear and the real sacrifice of guru and Krsna is so vivid. Through this, my relationship with my teachers and You is growing.

I offer these two lessons and want to pray for Your blessings.

Her Grace Prema-tarangini Mataji has been teaching how I own my feelings and depths and layers of it. Recently when I was turning away from devotees with the excuse of seeming imperfections of the other devotee, she helped me understand its my own imperfection or emptiness. My own lack of mood of service.

You are our source of strength, mood of service. You are mingling among us like one of us blessing us without our knowledge. On this auspicious day I sincerely pray for a drop of strength to be in the mood of service following my teachers and You.
