I remember what you said
Slow steps
Try to follow
Try to stay 

You said to follow, to do my best 
I know you could see my way
To the best of my abilities 
stay on this Holy Lane

Maharaja, you took a chance
I took one too
I know I have so far to go

You, an example 
A shining, spirit soul
You move along
A steady pace

Teaching lessons for the crowds
Travel from place to place
To push the movement on
Me standing in the shadow

One toe upon the path 
I stand aside and contemplate 
Then busy with my tasks

Running here and running there
Only one toe on the path
What I can accept and can’t accept 

The struggles of every day 
Standing in the shadow
One toe upon the path
I meditate on my beliefs 
And wonder if I can

I only need to focus
On your daily, lifelong plan
To follow, reflect, and concentrate 
Your example, Your mercy; I pray

I see your life in action
