My dear and most respected spiritual master and eternal father,
Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances in the dust of your most merciful lotus feet! All glories to you, Guru Maharaja, and to Srila Prabhupada!
Guru Maharaja, I will be eternally thankful for your mercy that transforms us and want to thank Srila Prabhupada for the same. Not a single day goes by without the feeling of being sheltered and nurtured by your loving self. Your lectures inspire me to cultivate my innate Krsna consciousness. I want to depend on mercy descending through your words. Krsna is inconceivable and by your saving grace, I am endeavoring to be in service to Him. I cannot develop love for Krsna without knowing Him. How would I ever know Him, Guru Maharaja, except for all your mercy?
The holy name is Krsna, and it is only through your causeless mercy that I am able to take to the holy name. I cannot ever express our gratitude to you, Guru Maharaja.
Srila Prabhupada says in many purports that it is only by pleasing the spiritual master that one can make any spiritual progress. Guru Maharaja, how do I please you as I am still unable to overcome the control of my mind?
I would like to express my gratitude for your saving grace in the form of our god brothers and god sisters. Their firm conviction and strong sadhana nurtures me as the much-needed counsel and inspiration.
In the darkest of days, I remember your two words, ACCEPT and PROGRESS. It helps me immensely to pick myself up and strive for progress. Guru Maharaja, your words will always be my guiding compass.
I seek forgiveness at your lotus feet for all my mistakes. I am surely the most fallen of all.
Please empower me to serve you and Srila Prabhupada forever.
Aspiring to be your eternal servant,
Sucarita devi dasi
