Our dearest Srila Romapada Swami Maharaja, my dearest spiritual father, Happy Vyasa-puja! Wish you all the best.

I know that you are Krsna’s close friend and His eternal associate. You could totally enjoy endless pastime and bliss with Krsna in the spiritual world. Nevertheless, you see that on the other side of the Viraja river is the dark material world where your children are bound tightly by the three modes of energy. Living there they feel confused and helpless as if life there is real. Out of great mercy you looked at these children, seeing them repeating birth and death life after life and suffering from ups and downs of the material world. But we are so lucky that by the mercy of Krsna we have your association and become your disciples. You plant the seed of devotional creep deep into every disciple’s heart. Although we are disappointed and lost in this world, you bestow us great mercy and love with your endless wisdom. You personally save us by all means, letting us know that the material world is not our real home while the spiritual world is. The material world is just a training place for we are ignorant of real self therefore there exist different kind of training places. The purpose is to help us recover our relationship with God.

You are extremely patient while teaching us effective methods. From blind worship to gradual understanding, for every bit of our growth, you take great pains and efforts dear guru! You are too merciful. With us aging spiritually, you are eager to help us get rid of the contamination of the material world as soon as possible to have our soul pure and bright. The secret of your teaching is devotional service, because it is the most effective method to solve all the difficulties in this world. You also teach us to follow the footsteps of acarya’s and to glorify, meditate and hear divine pastime and pay obeisances to the five methods to get spiritual progress.

You also teach us that when faced with difficulties we should turn to devotees to pray so that we could get rid of our sense of honor and pride. As our guru is Krsna’s friend, he is our strength of growth. By the mercy of Krsna and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu (Krsna Himself), we shall turn our face to Them for the rescue. Only by this can we hold on against the attack of three material energy. Under any circumstances may we do service for Krsna and think of Krsna, loving Him and never forgetting Him.

I deeply know that different situations of the material world will repeat themselves to get us into maya’s trap and illusion, which keep us strained in birth and death of this material world, only by guru and Sri Caitanya Mahaprabhu’s mercy can we wake up and become strong. Let’s turn our face to Mahaprabhu and be only attached to devotional service, relying on the mercy of guru and Mahaprabhu.

Finally, I wish you, my dear father Romapada Swami Maharaja, all the best and longevity.
