Dear Srila Romapada Swami,

On the occasion of your Vyasa-puja, please accept humble but most sincere obeisances from me, a fallen disciple! All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Gurudeva!

Gurudeva, being one of Srila Prabhupada’s best and most satisfying and capable disciples, you are obeying your guru’s teaching all the moments and are sparing no effort in spreading the essence of scriptures such as the Srimad-Bhagavatam and the Bhagavad-gita. Although the entire world is under the shadow of the Covid virus, you keep giving teachings online to devotees and disciples worldwide, solving problems and strengthening our faith of practice. However, I am a fallen and incompetent disciple and can hardly meet your teachings and expectations. I chant but not attentively enough; I learn every day but not focused enough; I do service every day but I don’t have enough affection and am not patient enough with my family. In a word, I am not making a lot of progress in my practice and it is easy for me to fall and get lost.

I pray that gurudeva could give me some mercy so that I can overcome all these obstacles. And please deliver me from this filthy material word to become your qualified disciple and Krsna’s qualified servant of servants and then return to real home!

Thanks to the teachings of Gurudeva! Obeisances unto your lotus feet! Wish you smooth preaching and forever health and safety!

Your respectful disciple,
