Dear Gurudeva,

Please accept my humble obeisances. Amid the ocean-like crowds in the endless river of time, I’m so fortune to have met you and got your mercy. On this special day of your Vyasa-puja celebration, please allow me to offer this poem to express my heart.

Your holiness descends onto this material world to espouse the unparalleled value of the holy scriptures.

You enlighten all living entities and benefit their real interests.

You give lectures on Monday and Thursday every week and teach us the incredible stories of the six Gosvamis.

You make my mind, so restless like a monkey, attracted to your instructions.

I shall give up my pride and surrender to your lotus feet, so that I can go on the bhakti path.

I shall always put the mantra you have given me in my heart and in my ears.

I shall take shelter of your holiness without forgetting for any moment my spiritual goal.

I shall renounce those useless austerities and rather keep in mind Radha-kunda.

I shall give up gossip and talks of money, stay away from lust, anger and all other enemies.

I shall remember always that the grace of your lotus feet is the only source of nectar.

I hereby wish my beloved teacher good health.
