Respected Guru Maharaja,

Hare Krsna! Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you.

On this auspicious occasion of your Vyasa-puja celebration, I have this great fortune to express my heartfelt gratitude and purify my consciousness.

Guru Maharaja, it is indeed my fortune to be a recipient of your shelter and mercy. If it were not for your shelter, what would I be doing and where would I be? Not knowing the purpose of this life, I would simply be leading a life full of distress along with an ongoing attempt to get out of that distress but actually heading nowhere.

It is only because of your mercy that I and my family have been introduced to the teachings of Srila Prabhupada and the association of his devotees. Your mercy alone is the cause of my receiving the gift of pure devotional service and your mercy alone is the cause of my being maintained in the process of Krsna consciousness.

Your lectures impart strength and dedication towards this process, especially for chanting the Holy Name with attention. Each and every lecture has this very important message: chant with attention and from the heart.

For some of us who do not understand English, you have made arrangements for translations of your recorded lectures so that we can derive strength to continue our daily sadhana.

For dealing with the crests and troughs of life, we require training and guidance for the practical application of the principles of Krsna consciousness. Towards this end, you have made available the association of the very kind-hearted and tolerant Jagadananda Prabhuji and Ananda Vrndavana Mataji.

During the pandemic times, when the annual Kartika yatra could not be organized, you spent hours and hours preparing for the online virtual yatra to keep our consciousness on track during one of the most difficult times the world has ever faced.

Guru Maharaja, I simply fall at your lotus feet and beg for your continued blessings.

Your servant,
Nava Kishore dasa
