Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

Once again it is time to offer sincere loving words of glorification of our spiritual master.

The spiritual master is the ocean of mercy and friend of the fallen soul. Thank you for accepting us as your disciples even though we are without any good qualities. It is very kind of you to take us for yatras and organize retreats on the holy name, helping us to chant better and stay in devotional path. Maya is so strong, she does not wait for an opportunity but keeps squeezing in from all sides to keep testing us. A very good example of that is different thoughts coming up while chanting. Even when chanting audibly and trying to listen to the holy names, where from I don’t know where from the attack comes and take the concentration away from chanting. The more I try to chant nicely, the more I realize when the attention goes away.

Even though we have heard before, the last Festival of holy name was very helpful for me. The tips you gave plus the exercises helped me a lot. Also, Syamasundara Prabhu’s example was very inspiring. Recently, I also read Sitala Mataj’s book on Narottama dasa Thakura, inspired by Hemangi Mataji. It helped me a lot too. I was touched by his devotion to his spiritual masters, relationship with other devotees and attachment to the holy name.

By your kind instructions, guidance, corrections and services, I hope somehow to be in devotional service one day! There is no other hope. Your patience and kindness know no limit! Thank You for always being there for us unconditionally!
