Dearest Guru Maharaja,

My most respected spiritual father, please accept my most respectful obeisances!

I am a very stupid, ignorant, fallen, and dirty soul, but I am also a lucky person. It was Lord Krsna’s gratuitous grace that led me to you. It is you – my spiritual master who has removed the darkness of ignorance and led me on the path of journey back home to light.

I have never forgotten the oath I took before you- my spiritual master when I was initiated. I fulfill my duties: to observe four basic principles, to read Srila Prabhupada’s books, to chant the holy name at least 16 rounds a day, to learn to do prasadam for service of Krsna, and to serve all people as I can.

Although I have been studying for a short time, I am full of confidence for listening to you-my spiritual master’s instructions. I love reading and listening to holy scriptures, and my mind is much more peaceful than before.

Thank you for the gift of these instructions, I remember in my heart: I am a pure soul, I am not these senses, this mind and the body. My energy is extremely small, there is no capacity for any activity, yet only ability to make independent conscious choices. All glory belongs to the Supreme Lord Krsna and the spiritual master and all the great devotees of the Lord.

The material world is short and painful, but it is the only way for us to return to our spiritual home. Lord Krsna teaches to be the servant of the servant of the eternal servant. Life is to learn the lesson of being humble like grass, tolerant like trees, let go of desire and become dedicated to service.

Hope the name of the Lord and the truth of the Vedas be spread to every corner of the universe, to every village and city of the world!

Wish my dear Gurudeva, with your mercy, let my poor soul always be sheltered by your lotus feet! I wish you all the best, dear Gurudeva! Good health! Making the truth of Krsna consciousness accessible!
