Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept our humble obeisances at your lotus feet. All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada. All glories to Sri Sri Nitai Saci-suta. All glories to Sri Sri Laksmi Nrsimha-deva and Sri Prahlada Maharaja.
We are enthused again at this opportunity to glorify you on the auspicious occasion of your divine appearance on this planet for our benefit. May Sri Gaurasundara give you many more years to stay on this planet so that we get to hear your nectarean discourses about Srimad-Bhagavatam, Light of the Bhagavata and many other topics. Your uninterrupted, unmotivated and untiring service at the lotus feet of your spiritual master, His Divine Grace A.C.Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada, inspires us to do our little bit for the Hare Krsna movement. You continue to travel incessantly since the covid restrictions subsided and you reach out to many demographics to spread the message of Lord Caitanya like the preaching you do in China and so forth. It mesmerizes an ordinary person like me how at 70+ years of age with some health issues, someone can travel a lot of places without any selfish motive, just to carry out the orders of their spiritual master and just to please the latter. We have seen Srila Prabhupada do that when he was present on this planet and now we see you do the same for His Divine Grace. Some day, we aspire we can do at least a small bit of it, just to please you.
Being a family person, we are preoccupied every day to take care of our varied family needs. If we didn’t get spiritual shelter, if we hadn’t come across the message of Bhagavatam and Bhagavad-gita, we would have drifted away just like every other man/woman into the entanglement of life that appears to give some temporary happiness but never fulfills it. Though we knew Bhagavatam and Bhagavad-gita from childhood, it was always a mystery to understand it the right way. We are indebted to Srila Prabhupada and his exalted disciples like you who still live the bhagavat life (the person bhagavata) and encourage people like us to do the same.
In the midst of family responsibilities, we are trying to preach a little bit on a regular basis. The audience is low and fluid meaning the handful of people who attend the hari-katha keeps changing. We’ve not been able to attract people as we desire. Prasadam distribution is something we haven’t really tried because we don’t have the people to cook and distribute. We also haven’t been actively following up with people so that they feel connected. Our current family situation and work situation does not allow us for active preaching. But the desire is there in the heart to do so. We are doing whatever we can to reach out to the public in spreading the message of Lord Caitanya. Therefore, we seek your blessings to empower us to do the preaching and bring the audience to our Satsang so all of us get benefitted.
Apart from our regular sadhana, hearing and chanting, we regularly do seva to our home Deities and temple Deities. We are also attending Bhakti vaibhava class conducted by His Grace Bhayahari Prabhu since 2018 who is now discussing Srimad-Bhagavatam Canto 5 chapter 14. We would regularly hear your youtube lectures. We pray to Sri Sri Nitai Saci-suta for your health so that you may continue enlightening us and keep us determined in the path back to Godhead.
