Respected Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisance. All glories to Srila Prabhupada and Gurudev.
On this auspicious occasion of Vyasa-puja ceremony, I would like to express my gratitude towards you, and pray that I do not go offtrack in my Krsna consciousness path but rather stay strongly connected to our guru-parampara.
Guru Maharaja, I like all the qualities in you. I would like to mention a few of them that have inspired me to try to keep to my practice.
Maharaja, in you, I see the mood of all the acaryas and Srila Prabhupada. I admire the way you inspire us to chant in the mood of surrender, as a key to the loving mercy of the holy name. You always emphasize mindful chanting and the bhajans of the acaryas which are in the mood of saranagati. You always stress the importance of studying and distributing Srila Prabhupada’s books, especially Srimad-Bhagavatam—which is essence of all the Vedas.
I am also understanding the power of bhakti and the value and need of reading Srila Prabhupada’s books for the effective continuation of ISKCON for serval generations in the future and for my own personal growth in spiritual life. Maharaja, you always emphasize college preaching and encourage youth to take up the mission of Srila Prabhupada and become a leader. I appreciate your personal example of valuing time and not wasting any moment. Your mood of service in every situation is amazing and very instructive to me.
On this auspicious Vyasa-puja day, I pray for your continued association and your humble blessings so that I can continue in bhakti and help and support my kids in bhakti as well.
