Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at your lotus feet on your auspicious appearance day. All glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to you.

The day of your auspicious appearance has come. After three years of the epidemic without your personal association, I feel I have no power. When I listen to the nectar flowing from your lotus mouth and see your kind and gentle face in the evening class on Mondays and the morning class on Thursdays is the happiest and most joyful time. It is said that when we do not have much opportunity for personal association with guru, we should regularly associate with the teachings of our spiritual master, listen, read, meditate, discuss the teachings, and apply them to our daily activities.

Dear Gurudeva, You encouraged me to study Prabhupada’s books with your wise spiritual vision, which I did not quite understand. But later I understood that through study I understand my identity as a servant of the servants of Krsna. I have to use spiritual knowledge to guide myself in what I can do and what I cannot do in life instead of living my life according to my own ideas. Prabhupada says in the Bhagavad-gita, that as living beings we have fallen into the material world by accident. Instead of trying to find out why we have fallen, we have to think about how I can get out of the material bondage and go back to the spiritual world, back to the Supreme Lord, and do service. That can be done by taking refuge in a spiritual master in the line of the disciplic succession.

I am very fortunate to have been initiated by Your mercy as Your disciple to engage in loving service under Your guidance. To cleanse myself of impurity through service, to study Prabhupada’s books under Your guidance, to learn how to do loving service and how to be a devotee. Dear Father, without Your mercy I would still be bound to the material world and undergoing all kinds of suffering. You saved me from the sea of material suffering and the best way to repay You is to carry out Your instructions unconditionally. I will always keep myself in Krsna consciousness with sincerity, humility and endeavor to do loving service. Tring to improve my state of consciousness and spread Krsna consciousness so that more souls can be saved.

Dear Guru Maharaja, I pray to Lord Nrsimha that my dear father is in good health and is preaching well, and I bow deeply to your lotus feet!
