Dear Guru Maharaja,

Obeisances to Guru Maharaja and all the devotees. On this day of your guru-puja celebration gratitude to you for your causeless mercy. I pray deeply to the Supreme Lord. All glory to Srila Prabhupada, all glory to your holy lotus feet. Thank you, Gurudeva, for spreading the energy of love through the Internet, preaching the holy name, teaching philosophy and so on.

I am studying Bhagavad-gita with teachers such as Harakantha devi dasi, and I understand that guru is the most confidential representative of the Supreme Lord. With this premise, it is relatively easy to accept transcendental knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances unto the lotus feet of you.

Meeting a spiritual master is the beginning of receiving prasadam. You are the provider of juicy and delicious prasadam. You purify my senses through prasadam. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.

Guru is the original fragrance of beautiful flowers, and whenever I see such beautiful flowers, I remember that you told us to offer all the fragrance to the Supreme Lord Krsna. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.

You are the hope of the land, the green wheat field is the witness; you are the feelings of the land, the lush forest is the proof; you are the miracle of the land, the reproduction of all things is the corroborator. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.

Guru is the provider of the light of the sun and the moon, you are like the warmth of the sun, you are the love of the moon on the earth, nourishing the soul. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.

Guru is the provider of the power of fire, you are the original energy of gastrointestinal power, you are the energy of delicious prasadam production, you are the driving force of human progress and civilization. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.

Guru is the giver of human ability; without guru’s help it is impossible to understand the original meaning of Bhagavad-gita. You are a beacon that leads to understanding Lord Krsna who lights the way home. I offer my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet.
