Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisances in the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace. All Glories to Srila Prabhupada.
On this most auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja, I offer my humble obeisances at your lotus feet again and again. It is only by your causeless mercy that I have received even a glimpse of spiritual understanding. You are the living representative of Srila Vyasadeva, and through your words and example, the eternal wisdom of the Vedas becomes accessible and alive.
Your compassion knows no bounds. Despite my many shortcomings, you continue to guide me with patience, love, and unwavering dedication. You have given me the greatest gift—connection to the Supreme Lord—and for that, I am eternally indebted. Your life is a perfect example of dedication. You tirelessly serve and spread the holy names, and uplift countless souls. I pray for the strength to follow in your footsteps, to serve your mission with sincerity, and to never forget your instructions. The following verse from Bhagavad-gita 3.21, inspires me:
yad yad acarati sresthas
tat tad evetaro janah
sa yat pramanam kurute
lokas tad anuvartate
“Whatever action a great man performs, common men follow. And whatever standards he sets by exemplary acts, all the world pursues.” [Bhagavad-gita 3.21]
You have given me access to the greatest wealth in the form of knowledge and some taste for chanting the holy names. On this sacred day, I beg for your blessings: may develop unflinching faith in your words and may I become an instrument of your compassion in this world.
Thank you, Gurudeva, for everything. Please forgive my offenses and accept this small offering of love and gratitude.
Your most fallen servant,
Antardvipa dasa
