Dear Romapada Swami Maharaja,

All glories to Srila Prabhupada! All glories to you!

It’s your Vyasa-puja again. On this joyous occasion, I wish Gurudeva good health and more opportunities to serve Krsna!

I dare not watch anything else except Krsna anymore because I need to please Gurudeva and focus on bhakti’s goal. Watching anything else besides Krsna feels meaningless. It is you, Srila Gurudeva, who gave me the strength.

I remember listening to Gurudeva’s lecture in Beijing. At that time, you were distributing prasadam, surrounded by a group of devotees reaching out to receive it, and I also reached out my hand remembering the sentence—to please Krsna—and I kept repeating it. I saw Gurudeva smiling at me.

When I sat down, you walked over from the other end. I found Gurudeva’s dazzling light was extremely beautiful. You came up to me and asked me, “Did you get it?” I said “Yes” in a daze. At that moment, it felt as if time had completely stopped, leaving only you and me.

I want to be grateful and always remember Gurudeva’s kindness and teachings. Putting them into bhakti in action, to truly please Gurudeva, is the only purpose of my life.

When winter comes and if my mother is still in good health, I will go to Gopa-sundari devi dasi’s home for study. The winter there is warm. Just thinking about it makes me excited every day.

On this joyous occasion once again, I wish Gurudeva good health and hope you can continue to do more service for Krsna!

Your servant,
Dhira devi dasi
