My dear and respected Guru Maharaja,
Hare Krsna! Please accept my humble obeisances unto your divine lotus feet on the auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
Guru Maharaja, firstly, I would like to express my gratitude for granting me a causeless opportunity to connect with the divine parampara. Prior to your association, due to my deep desires for material enjoyment, the consciousness became impure to the highest level. I lost the complete ability to discriminate between what is right and wrong. I had no taste or attraction for spiritual activities. My actions at every moment were taking me to the darkest region of existence. I found myself completely trapped in the web of maya having no strength to free myself until I came in contact with your pure and divine association.
Your divine audience is purifying like dipping into the water of Ganges. Moreover, further purifications of inner-self will happen manifold when one accepts your instructions as life and soul and lives by it. It works like magic. A glimpse of that I can feel at present in myself in comparison to the earlier diseased conditions. Now, because of your causeless mercy, I am getting opportunities to fill every moment of life with Krsna consciousness moments under the caring guidance of SEVA group led by Satyavrata Prabhu. Literally the stone of life is spiritually carved by you. The purposeless life is becoming purposeful. Instead of leading a life like dogs and hogs, now making an attempt to serve Guru and Krsna. This magical change I could observe because of your mercy only. What I understood about the conclusion of Bhagavad-gita is that how a bewildered Arjuna became bold Arjuna, how a confused Arjuna became an intelligent Arjuna and at last how a looser Arjuna finally became a victorious Arjuna. The answer lies in giving up one’s own conceptions and surrendering unto the lotus feet of the Lord. After finding no other means except to surrender and taking firm shelter of the Lord, Arjuna received the transcendental knowledge and strength to get out of baffling situations. Similarly, our situation in the midst of this degrading age is like that of Arjuna and you, being a pure representative of Krsna, are mercifully taking us out from the pangs of material existence. As Arjuna was fortunate, so are we to have divine shelter of your lotus feet.
Guru Maharaja, you have created a flow of bhakti in which it has become easy for us to keep going. As stated in Srimad-Bhagavatam that knowledge about the Absolute Truth can only be revealed after one gets the dust of lotus feet of pure devotees like you. Without your divine intervention the seed of bhakti would not have sprouted from the stone like heart of mine. I am understanding that by serving your lotus feet and sticking to your instructions, layer by layer the real taste of bhakti will get revealed in due course of time. I can see this in your life that how you trained your heart not to accept anything which is not pleasing to your spiritual master. The firm determination you have is marveling that in one meeting with Srila Prabhupada you dedicated your life completely to him. You do not belong to this world. You came to this material world out of compassion only for taking us back to godhead. Because of you only I could have access to the teachings of Srila Prabhupada and other acaryas.
Recently, we heard your lecture series on Madhurya Kadambini and previously Brahma-samhita. It is not so easy to understand the deeper meaning contained in these sastras. However, because of your divine lectures we could have access to these transcendental literatures and Srila Prabhupadas’s purport, which otherwise would have been an undiscovered treasure. The importance of many holy places is revealed by your divine lectures during yatras. A pure devotee makes the process of bhakti easier for others. At such an advanced stage, you travel incessantly and conduct yatras. You invest so much time to prepare lectures taking care of different categories of audience. I am grateful to you for giving me an opportunity to take shelter of your divine lotus feet.
Guru Maharaja, you have given me everything to perfect my life. I am trying to stick to the path you have chalked out for us. With my limited capacity, I am trying to assist SEVA group devotees to serve you under the guidance of Satyavrata Prabhu, who is an example for me of how to dedicate life for the pleasure of Guru and Krsna. I cannot count my fortune to have such a loving father in my life. I pray to your lotus feet on the Vyasa-puja day to kindly give strength and purity to me, Purnamrta, Sarayu and Gitanshi to serve you with heart and soul in your mission to Srila Prabhupada.
Please forgive my offenses committed to your divine lotus feet.
