My most respected and beloved Guru Maharaja and eternal father,

nama om visnu-padaya krsna-presthaya bhu-tale
srimate romapada-svamin iti namine

om ajnana-timirandhasya jnananjana-salakaya
cakṣur-unmilitam yena tasmai sri-gurave namah

Please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances in the dust of Your most merciful divine lotus feet. All glories to His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Your divine grace!

On the most auspicious day of Your Vyasa-puja, i offer my deep heartfelt gratitude for the endless gifts I have been receiving from You and Your representatives, to pull me out of the dark deep well full of snakes and dangerous creatures (my material desires and attachments). By Your causeless mercy and compassion, You have planted the seed of bhakti in my heart and have given perfect and spotless watering process for the creeper of devotion to grow to reach Krsna’s lotus feet and a large caring family of devotees.

I pray that not only on this one day of Vyasa-puja but every moment in my heart there be a celebration of biggest festival of my eternal father’s appearance with deep gratitude offered in my thoughts, words, actions and prayers and mood of begging for mercy.

guru-rupe krsna krpa karena bhakta-gane

“According to the deliberate opinion of all revealed scriptures, the spiritual master is nondifferent from Krsna. Lord Krsna in the form of the spiritual master delivers His devotees.” (Caitanya-caritamrta Adi Lila 1.45)

My words will never be capable of expressing proper gratitude for saving me and for accepting me as Your disciple.

Guru Maharaja, Your attachment, love and service to Srila Prabhupada is always very heart touching and inspiring to follow in Your footsteps. Your oceanic compassion comes out in Your constant selfless travel to enlighten conditioned souls as myself. You exemplify the quality of avyartha-kalatvam by utilizing every moment in serving Srila Prabhupada and Krsna, Your love for Srimad-Bhagavatam and so many classes on so many scriptures and our acaryas and festivals – is a ocean of nectar for my ears, heart and soul.

Guru Maharaja, due to descending mercy I am inspired to really work on cultivating third verse of Siksastaka and Srila Bhaktivinoda Thakura’s bhajan – gurudev! krpa-bindu diya, koro’ ei dase is becoming my guide to beg for Your mercy to cultivate the quality of humility, tolerance, respecting others and not expecting any respect in return.

On this most auspicious day of Your appearance, from the deepest core of my heart I call out and beg for Your causeless mercy so that my only desire be to serve You in the mood of servant of Your servants and be a tiny instrument in Your service to Srila Prabhupada.

I offer prayers to Lord Nrsimhadeva for Your perfect health and protection from envious forces.

O my eternal father, the ocean of mercy, the deliverer of fallen, I the most fallen bow down onto Your divine lotus feet again and again and again… please accept my most humble and respectful obeisances in the dust of Your most merciful lotus feet and engage me in Your service always.
