Respected eternal spiritual master Romapada Swami,

You light up my eyes with the torch of knowledge, and I offer my respectful obeisances unto you.

You are like a lamp that illuminates my dark life, brightens my soul, and as well as illuminating the dirty corners of my heart. You are like a ship appearing in the vast ocean, giving me hope of reaching the shore. Your words are full of wisdom, always encouraging and uplifting me. It is the driving force and direction for my spiritual cultivation.

You are a role model for all of us, your disciples. Despite your advanced age and physical exhaustion, you have fulfilled Srila Prabhupada’s mission. You tirelessly continue to preach with dedication, creating beautiful presentations and giving us wonderful lectures on Krsna consciousness. This is the invaluable wealth you have gifted to us. You are also very humble. Whether our questions are simple or profound, you always answer them with patience and calmness.

Every time I think of your words or your face, my eyes fill with tears, and my heart is filled with infinite gratitude for you. I feel that meeting you is the result of all the blessings of my life. Though I am often tempted and disturbed by the material world, I always remember your instructions. I will hold onto my faith and not deviate from the path you have set for me.

I sincerely pray to you hoping that you can bless me and help me overcome my inner weakness and confusion. So that I can follow your teachings and offer perfect loving service to Krsna.

May you always feel the ecstasy of being with Krsna!
