Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to you on this auspicious day of your Vyasa-puja and all glories to Srila Prabhupada.

With your permission, I would like to express your humility I experienced at Haridvara yatra 2024. We had a big target of distributing Srimad-Bhagavatam from you and were trying to distribute a set to the driver who brought us from Vrndavana to Haridvara. After the evening class and prasadam, I was trying to get to you, so the Srimad-Bhagavatam could be passed on to the driver through your lotus hands. When I asked one of your servants, they said you’re very fatigued due to jet lag, so resting and advised not to disturb. I kept at it went up with Srimad-Bhagavatam set and the driver, knocked on your door and waited for couple of minutes. There was lot of water dripping in front of the room so we thought you might be shifted to next room.

We went and knocked on the next room and as the driver was impatient, he knocked on the door couple of times. After waiting for a couple of minutes, we saw Gurudeva open the door to my surprise. Panicked as I was already being asked not to disturb, quickly apologized and mentioned the reason for being there. Gurudeva advised very calmly to wait and went inside.

We waited for some time and as we saw the servants of Srila Gurudeva coming, we got the Srimad-Bhagavatam set delivered to the driver through them and moved on. Next day I got a voice message from Srila Gurudeva asking for a humble apology for being curt last evening. Hopefully Krsna would forgive my offense to Srila Gurudeva and make me a true disciple and a devotee in one of my lives…
