Hare Krsna, dearest Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances unto your lotus feet, which gives us shelter and protection.

Guru Maharaja, you often say, “those of you who like to read Prabhupada books” and it always reminded me of how you follow your Guru Maharaja and how much you care about us. No one cares more about our well-being than you, our spiritual father. You constantly remind us to read, because only when we are enlightened with knowledge can we be detached from material roadblocks that prevent us from loving Krsna purely.

Not only do you care about our spiritual health but our material bodies too, which you have taught us to use for Krsna’s pleasure. Recently, I listened to an old lecture where you said, “health comes first. If you don’t have health, how can you serve?” At that time, I was struggling with health issues and doing seva. I was choosing seva even at the expense of my health, thinking health to be not so important. But you reminded me of the simple truth that we need to take care of our bodies, just as tools need to be maintained.

There are many instances where I would meet my fellow God-siblings at Sri Sri Kisore-Kisori and see how the values you instilled in them made them radiant and warm. I wish to be a deserving spiritual daughter of yours. May my bhakti-lata-bija grow and make you happy, knowing that all your tireless travels and sleepless nights have made a difference in this stone-like disciple’s life.

On this Vyasa-puja, I pray and will forever keep praying for your good health and longevity. May Srimati Radharani and Her Syamasundara bless you always so that your mission of spreading the holy name will always be smooth. Thank you for being our father, well-wisher, and captain on this treacherous ocean of forgetfulness as we sail towards the oasis of Krsnaprema

Your insignificant servant,
