Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances in the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to your Divine Grace. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

On this auspicious day of your appearance we want to express our deepest gratitude, as we feel very fortunate to get the lotus shade of our spiritual master. Even though we have no qualification, you keep showering your causeless mercy upon us. Teachings of our acaryas and Srila Prabhupada have manifested themselves in various ways; we are witnessing devotees leading simple and satisfied lives. We sometimes regret that we were not aware of Srila Prabhupada’s books while growing up. There is immense strength and purity in these books, like a shining light of knowledge, which removes the darkness of ignorance from our hearts. We are grateful to you for systematically explaining to us these messages through your lectures.

We feel a lot of gratitude to have your mercy and Srila Prabhupada’s books to take strength from, especially during difficult phases in our lives. There is so much suffering in the material world, but we are so fortunate to have your shelter. We beg for your mercy upon fallen conditioned souls like us.

Lord Caitanya’s and Lord Nityananda’s compassion in the form of the holy name has touched our hearts so deeply. Chanting Krsna’s holy names is the only way to find real and lasting happiness. The Lord’s mercy is manifested in you, Guru Maharaja. You have always given us unconditional love and guidance; you have made such nice arrangements, such as the presence of Her Grace Krsna Lila Mataji in our lives. We can always approach her with any question and she guides us to follow our heart. Thank you for arranging mentors like His Grace Jagadananda Prabhu and Her Grace Ananda Vrndavana Mataji, who have always been there for us. There is so much heartbreak and confusion in the world, but when we listen to your encouraging words it brings our hearts home and we definitely experience a sense of peace in the midst of chaos. We beg for your guidance, protection and empowerment so we can serve Guru and Krsna. With your guidance and blessings, we have been doing the Sunday school service regularly.

Your kind words and transcendental knowledge have touched our life so deeply. We never knew what love was, but under your shelter we have to understand its true meaning. After hearing from you, we have more respect for near ones in our lives. You have been so compassionate with us and tolerated our foolish mistakes. Please forgive us for any offences we may have knowingly or unknowingly committed.

On this very auspicious day, we beg for your blessings so that we may cultivate the good qualities of enthusiasm, patience, confidence and the determination to perform devotional service. On this day, we pray to Guru and Gauranga to keep us always under Their shelter.
