Respected Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my humble obeisnaces at dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

om ajnana-timirandhasya jnananjana-salakaya
caksur unmilitam yena tasmai sri-gurave namah

“I was born in the darkest ignorance, and my spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances unto him.”

I was thinking about my life before taking your shelter. It was all misery, grief, complaints and moroseness which was actually hidden under a wrap. I was pretending to be happy, to show off, but internally something else was going on. But, after taking your shelter, I realized how I was struggling and suffering like a fish without water. Atleast now, I have an idea of why I am suffering. My suffering is because of ignorance of my real identity and your divine grace is encouraging me at every step through your lectures, or through your representatives, to take up this process of self realization seriously so that I can rise above this ignorance and live my life fully, because my real identity is that of sat-cid-ananda. I am really thankful to you for very carefully and patiently waiting for me and accepting me as I am, allowing me to take the baby steps in this path.

On this auspicious day I just want to pray, “Kindly bless me so that I can receive this gift which you are offering to me. Kindly bless me so that I may live my life as sat-cid-ananda and in reciprocation (cannot reciprocate, but whatever litle I can offer) with your mercy. May I become a fragmental instrument and help you to whatever degree I can in propagating the teachings of Srila Prabhupada.”
