Our most dearest Guru Maharaja,
Hare Krsna. Please accept my most humble obeisances unto the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace, All glories to Srila Prabhupada.
On this most auspicious occasion of your Vyasa-Puja we once again take this opportunity to try to glorify you in some menial way. Glorifying personalities like you is not possible for ordinary souls like us who are very much attached, but for your pleasure we will try to express a few words.
Krsna’s system works in such a way that the spiritual master mercifully out of his compassion accepts disciples, tries to train him, nurture his (disciples) relationship with Krsna, and the disciple’s duty is to be submissive to the orders and instructions of the spiritual master by following him. But due to the disciple’s rebellious nature he does things which are not conducive for his Krsna consciousness; he tries to be Lord of the material nature. Even though the spiritual master repeatedly, through his vani, teaches the dangers of the material world, still the disciple commits mistakes. The spiritual master being very compassionate as a loving father, encourages the disciple to turn his direction once again towards Krsna. He does it so lovingly that the disciple unknowingly, with lots of faith and respect, accepts the path back to Krsna. Maharaja, here I feel that there is no relation as sweet as this as that of spiritual master and disciple. It is your love that impels one to continue and gives the confidence that such a goal is attainable by the causeless loving mercy of the spiritual master.
In the past year we have seen how your dedication and love towards Srila Prabhupada has just increased and increased. The volume of service which you do on day-to-day basis is unimaginable. Thank you Maharaja for all of your kindness and love. We are indebted to you and we beg you to kindly engage us always in your loving service. We know that you are our eternal well-wisher. We also thank you for tolerating our incapability and meager service attitude while trying to render service at your lotus feet.
Guru Maharaja kindly forgive us for all offenses made at your lotus feet. We also seek forgiveness from all the vaisnavas whom we have offended in the course of time.
Thank you for always engaging us in your services.
Humbly seeking your mercy and loving glance.
Your loving servants,
Guru dasa and Hari Vallabha devi dasi
