On this most auspiciousness day of your appearance day, we want to express our gratitude for descending mercy flooding our life.
At the advent of Kali yuga, the sages were greatly concerned about the welfare of Kali yuga souls. For sages Kali yuga was not just a word; they were deeply aware of the entire paradigm this age brings with it. Driven with deep compassion for the Kali yuga souls, they chose to assemble at Naimisaranya. Then they accept Srila Suta Gosvami as their preceptor and hear Srimad-Bhagavatam from him. Leaving all other processes, they hinge their entire hope on hearing Srimad-Bhagavatam from Srila Suta Gosvami and chanting Lord Krsna’s names. In his Bhaktivedanta purports, Srila Prabhupada repeatedly explains that to have exclusive faith in the chanting and hearing about Krsna, leaving all other shelters is the prescribed method for achieving perfection of life; and also for overcoming all problems of this age. Other Vedic as well as modern methods, of overcoming problems of Kali are merely deception and useless.
To have opportunity to participate in pure hearing and chanting about Krsna is the greatest benediction one can have. However, since the atmosphere is surcharged with opposition, therefore, to offer this opportunity to Kali yuga souls is not easy. Further, for Kali yuga souls, this benediction alone is not enough; for because of their bad training, education and culture they do not have faith in this most benedictory process. This calls for shedding of gallons of blood for each conditioned soul by the representatives of Parampara.
This is the fortune we have received and are receiving in our life. With painstaking care, we have been trained to have faith in pure hearing and chanting about Krsna. We have also been provided the opportunity to participate in such pure hearing and chanting about Krsna. Progressively we are becoming more and more sheltered in the principle of pure hearing and chanting about Krsna.
We want to express our gratitude to Sir and Mataji for their immense sacrifices to provide such fortune in our life. We are amazed at the empowerment you and previous acaryas have offered them to represent Parampara purely and inspire this faith in our hearts. It is often said that quality of a fruit reflects qualities of a tree. We are practically experiencing it.
Falling at your feet we want to express our indebtedness for such mercy upon us. Falling at your feet, we also pray to strongly connect to Parampara through Sir and thereby bring pleasure to your heart.
