Respected Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances at the dust of your lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada. All glories to you.

This auspicious occasion provides a wonderful opportunity to us fortunate souls who have been made fortunate by your divine presence in our lives. Your presence in our lives has transformed us completely and we have seen that in the lives of other devotees as well. You are a touchstone and transform our hard, resistant hearts to accept the path of pure devotional service. You are so merciful and compassionate. You are firmly fixed in the spiritual conception and do not have any material considerations in distributing your mercy. This is amply evident by our being alive in Krsna consciousness, otherwise how was it possible for us to ever have this rarest of rare opportunity. You have numerous qualified servants who are willing and actually giving their lives to you, yet there is nothing you call your own. You are fearless and truthful and yet your heart is so tender, tolerant and peaceful. You are completely surrendered to your Guru Maharaja, Srila Prabhupada, and you always instill love, respect, and gratitude for him in our hearts. You are completely selfless and always available to help us surrender in the difficult and most difficult times of our lives, even though you continuously travel all around the world spreading the message of love and service.

In spite of your enormous responsibilities and services you have always kept us close to your heart by extending yourself through your divine lectures and by gifting us the relationship of Jagadananda Prabhuji and Ananda Vrndavana Mataji. They are teaching us by example how to surrender our lives in service to you and how to be a part of, and extend, the network of loving relationships mercifully created by you.

We are also extremely fortunate to have the association of wonderful godbrothers and godsisters who are always inspiring us to move forward in our journey, all the while patiently tolerating our mistakes and shortcomings.

Guru Maharaja, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your shelter.
