My dear Guru Maharaja,

Kindly accept my most humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace on this most auspicious day.

In the introduction to ‘Teachings of Lord Caitanya’ Srila Prabhupada wrote: “Thus there are two processes by which one may receive knowledge: One depends on the Supreme Personality of Godhead, who is situated as the Supersoul within the heart of all living entities, and the other depends upon the Guru, or spiritual master who is an expansion of Krsna. Thus Krsna transmits information both from within and without. We simply have to receive it.”

I understand you to be a most intimate servant of the Supreme Lord, the servitor personality of Godhead. Krsna speaks from within as caitya guru and from without as you, my dear Guru Maharaja. Without you there is no direct path to Krsna. With you there is clear direction and hope. My right to do service to the Lord, I have gotten from you. Without your wishes and permission and instruction, I cannot serve nor can I chant the holy names with love and deep attachment. Thus you have empowered me to serve the Lord. But the service is done only by your unlimited mercy. Your love and mercy inspires my heart with love and devotion to Their Lordships. How can I express my heartfelt gratitude for the greatest benedictions you have showered up on this insignificant soul? I understand that love for the spiritual master can be expressed by simply executing his instructions. That is my only duty which will ultimately lead to the supreme perfection, love of Godhead. Such love is unmotivated and flows in uninterrupted stream from the heart. You are an ocean of mercy and every day you open my eyes with the message of Godhead. My desire is to always serve you with all my heart and soul. On this most auspicious day I offer my heartfelt prayers to Their Lordships Sri Sri Radha Syamasundara, and Sri Sri Radha Madhava to keep you safe and engaged in their service. I stay committed to serving your mission, trying to rise above my lower nature by conditioning, doing my best to follow your teachings and teach it to others whom I come in to contact with according to my own level of realization. Striving to be your true representative,

Offering my most humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet and always seeking your prayers and mercy,

Your insignificant and eternal servant,
