My dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my most humble obeisances in the dust of Your lotus feet. All glories to You, Guru Maharaja!

What seemed like a daunting mountain that I thought I could never climb, what seemed like a long and dark tunnel that I could never see light at the end of, what seemed like a deepest forest that I could never cross, became insignificant by the sheer, unprecedented miracle that has happened in my life by Your causeless mercy. I am ever indebted to You for the path You have given me, Guru Maharaja.

Thank You for accepting me into your family, into Srila Prabhupada’s family, into Lord Krsna’s family.

“According to their karma, all living entities are wandering throughout the entire universe. Some of them are being elevated to the upper planetary systems, and some are going down into the lower planetary systems. Out
of many millions of wandering living entities, one who is very fortunate gets an opportunity to associate with a
bona fide spiritual master by the grace of Krsna. By the mercy of both Krsna and the spiritual master, such a person receives the seed of the creeper of devotional service.” (Sri Caitanya-caritamrta Madhya-lila 19.151)

I am drawing great inspiration from Your personal offering to Srila Prabhupada on Vyasa-puja, in which You describe the fathomless gifts Srila Prabhupada has offered to all living entities. I appreciate Your mood of calling these gifts “the petals of ISKCON’s lotus” and making us all aware of the causeless good fortune we have received.

I am ever thankful to You for being so generous upon me by sending Your representatives in my life to guide me. They have provided care and shelter to me only due to Your causeless mercy, overlooking all my disqualifications.

I want to make an offering to You, go further in my dedication and service mood in order to treasure and nurture devotee relationships, participate in sankirtana festivals, extend myself as a small particle in Your preaching mission, serve Vaisnavas, cultivate deep humility, go deeper in chanting the holy name and increase my surrender to You, Srila Prabhupada and the Lord.

Aspiring for your service,

Your insignificant servant,
