Most Respected Guru Maharaja,

Hare Krsna! Please accept our humble and respectful obeisances in the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

The conditioned soul’s predicament is such that although Krsna is His dearest friend and his most benevolent well-wisher, his attitude towards Krsna does not allow him to feel Krsna’s association, even though He is within his heart. The Lord therefore sends into their lives persons who, out of their love for Him, are willing to take up the thankless task of rectifying this errant attitude. These personalities, who work as spiritual masters and preceptors to these conditioned souls, endear themselves to them and train them to look towards Krsna, while they personally bear the brunt of their envy and rebellion accumulated over many, many lifetimes of existence within this material world.

Krsna is very grateful to them for such service and considers them most dear to Him and gives them all the necessary intelligence and inspiration to carry out this most challenging task on His behalf.

The association and mercy of such personalities are the most valuable gifts that the conditioned souls can receive within this material world, tulayama lavenapi….. Srila Prabhupada wanted every town and village of this world to be blessed with this gift and for this purpose he sacrificed his life to create this movement.

We feel very fortunate that we have been most fortunate recipients of this gift through the association of our beloved preceptors, Sir and Mataji, who faithfully serve you in this mission.

It is with great happiness and gratitude that we acknowledge this gift on this auspicious occasion of your Vyasa-puja and we beg you to bless us that we may remain ever faithful to the teachings we have received and increase the glory of disciplic succession by living them truthfully.

Your aspiring servants,
Sri Balarama dasa and Vrndavana Lila devi dasi
