Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our most humble and respectful obeisances at the dust of Your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace! All glories to Your Divine Appearance day! All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

We are very grateful for this opportunity to acknowledge, appreciate and glorify the unlimited and causeless sacrifices that You have been doing for the welfare of insignificant and ignorant souls like us.

One realization this year particularly, is to know – how much You love us (disciples, aspiring disciples and everyone else). And how much You love causelessly spending time with us. You are in this position of GBC and many other roles, which involves very carefully protecting and nurturing ISKCON and many other responsibilities. These involve dealing with a lot of problems, challenges, envisioning and planning etc… for the betterment of this ever-expanding society of devotees.

With such high responsibility, You still bless us with a lot of Your association – taking us on Yatras, conducting retreats suitable for the improvement of everyone’s Krsna consciousness and much more! You never stopped blessing us with so many numbers of classes at Your 60+ age. From all these we only understand the fact – how much You love us! How much You love blessing Your care and association to us. You love to hear and reply to our monthly reports and encourage us enormously to keep endeavoring to cultivate Krsna consciousness. This is such amazement to us and helps us to become more grateful for the many unasked-for-gifts we have been blessed with.

We only understand that You accepted such commitment to help us progress in our Krsna consciousness, train us to go back to Godhead and engage us in service of Lord and His devotees. Although You are already extending so much care, You also extend Your association through the wonderful mentor system, so that we will be blessed with much more of Your personal care, association and guidance in this path of becoming Krsna consciousn.

We are very grateful for the presence of His Grace Saci Kumar Prabhu and Her Grace Prema-tarangini Mataji in our lives. There is only one sentence to say about their care and guidance – “there is nothing that they did not do to pass on Your causeless love for us”. As usual there were many challenges in our practical lives and devotional mood, but still the above sentence only emerges out of our hearts when we reflect back.

It has been a challenge to keep up our sadhana and yet keeping our duties fulfilled with our limited capacities. It’s only their causeless care, instructions, and personal example that has been keeping us going. In fact, we are still not in a position to properly honor their association and instructions. Yet their causeless love never reduced on us even slightly. With the power of their Krsna consciousness and specific prayers for us, we are still here, tasting the sweetness of Krsna consciousness despite our embarrassingly limited capacities. We are enormously grateful to You, Guru Maharaja, for accepting us, and blessing us with all Your care in these many ways. Thank You very much for inspiring us to cultivate Krsna conscious loving relationships with them and with each other.

On this auspicious occasion, we earnestly pray for Your mercy to strengthen our relationships with You and Your dearest servants through following the core instructions that are given to us, mainly the sadhana program and cultivation of loving relationships within the family. Although very unqualified, we are blessed with the service of caring for our younger brothers and sisters. We understand the service duty of extending Your personal care to them, be with them and encourage them to taste the sweetness of Krsna consciousness. We are feeling very small and desperately unqualified. But we earnestly pray – if You so desire, to please let us be Your insignificant instruments to carry and pass on Your care. We earnestly pray for Your mercy and blessings to accomplish the mission You intend for all of us, Guru Maharaja.

Feeling very humble and unqualified, we joyfully glorify Your presence in our insignificant lives and pray to be causelessly blessed to be in Your service eternally, if You so desire.
