My dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Guru Maharaja, this year has been a year of gifts for us. Gifts in many different ways. In effect I see in myself a stronger sense of faith in you, since I am now able to see for myself the gifts that you have given us in work.

The gift of Krsna consciousness that you give through your lectures and guidance that you have so kindly arranged, has kept me going in spite of some severe hardships that we encountered. Through your emails we got strength that you are with us and hence Krsna is with us during those times.

Another gift that you have so lovingly given us is the gift of worshipping Gaura Nitai Deities for Vrajasundari. She is now engaged daily in worshipping Them. And we could see how pleased you were in hearing that she is now engaged in worshipping Them. When I see her say she wants an offering go only to Gaura Nitai and not to Radha Madhava on our main altar, it gives me a sense of how possessive she has become of her Deities!

Guru Maharaja, I have to say how much your replies to our reports are helping us. Even a simple reply that you have read our reports carefully gives us so much of encouragement. The fact that you carefully pay attention to the details in spite of your busy schedule has been so immensely helpful. It helps us to be accountable in our sadhana, at the minimum. And when we hear some encouraging words from you when we make a small step in Krsna consciousness, it gives us a strong morale boost to keep up the progress we made and in due course of time go to the next step.

Last but not the least, the association of devotees that you have so kindly given us. The monthly sadhu sanga of devotees with 4-hour kirtana and maha-mangala-arati has kept us going and busy. When a group of devotees come together and remember Krsna, the synergy is even stronger. And the festivals that the devotees have come together and made it happen have kept us engaged in Krsna’s service throughout the summer.

Maharaja, if not for these gifts that you have given, it is hard to imagine the quality of life that we would be leading. As you once said of Srila Prabhupada, we are ever indebted literally to you for lighting the lamp of Krsna consciousness in us and facilitating it to keep burning.
