Most Respected Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances on your appearance day. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Thank you, Guru Maharaja, for this opportunity on this auspicious occasion of your Vyasa-puja to meditate on how we benefited by the descending mercy in our life. Srimad-Bhagavatam (1.17.43-44) states that:

“The most fortunate Emperor Maharaja Pariksit, who was entrusted with the kingdom of Hastinapura by Maharaja Yudhisthira when he desired to retire to the forest, is now ruling the world with great success due to his being glorified by the deeds of the kings of the Kuru dynasty.”

In purport, Srila Prabhupada writes:
“The principles of Maharaja Pariksit can be still continued, and human society can still be improved if there is determination by the authorities. We can still purge out from the state all the activities of immorality introduced by the personality of Kali if we are determined to take action like Maharaja
Pariksit.’”

Every member of the parampara is empowered and fully committed to ensure the continuation of these principles of Maharaja Pariksit. This requires immense selfless sacrifice and total commitment at least on two fronts on their part. On the one hand, they are committed to themselves absorb and preserve the truth and the mood of their predecessors without any deviation and on the other they share the great responsibility to impart, empower, and carefully protect it in the hearts of committed disciples. From the beginning till date, we are repeatedly hearing from Sir about your immense spirit of selfless sacrifice and purity to Srila Prabhupada.

Thus we have become the most fortunate recipients of this mercy of the parampara through the benedictory association of Sir and Mataji, whom you have empowered in so many ways. This is another feature of your glorious qualities. They have preserved the teachings and the mood of the parampara through your blessings upon them and their own complete loyalty to you and the parampara. Their own personal absorption and example of living for pleasing Guru and Krsna is a constant fuel for inspiration to strive to live these teachings in our personal lives.

We beg for your kind blessings for truly absorbing this mercy provided to us so very causelessly and thus participate in a small way in serving the benedictory movement of Lord Caitanya.

Please accept our most humble obeisances.
