Dear most beloved and most respectable Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances at the dust of your divine lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace and His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada.

Maharaja, your appearance day is a very auspicious and memorable day for us. We have derived some spiritual benefit only because of your appearance and your giving us an opportunity of connecting with Your Divine Grace through the medium of Her Grace Prema-tarangini Mataji. We are very grateful, Guru Maharaja, for your continuous causeless mercy showered upon our entire family – not only for our spiritual progress but also for the welfare of our family on all counts.

Maharaja, we do not have qualification to describe your wonderful transcendental qualities nor do we have the necessary words. Your scriptural knowledge and higher level of wisdom are of the highest order. You display a lot of patience and tolerance in bringing around change in the hearts of conditioned souls like us.

Lord Krsna says in Bhagavad-gita 4.11, “ye yatha mam prapadyante tams tathaiva bhajamy aham…” He reciprocates with one according to the proportion of one’s surrender unto Him. Krsna feels the love of his devotee and reciprocates. But Your Divine Grace is such a wonderful representative of the Lord that you always reciprocate at higher proportion than the level of our surrender. This has been proven on several occasions in respect of one of our family members. This is the greatest quality of a pure sadhu that is always found in abundance in Your Divine Grace. We are extremely grateful for your immense compassion shown upon that struggling soul.

Guru Maharaja, your yatras are so wonderful that they help to improve our consciousness and bring us closer to Krsna. Hearing the transcendental loving dealings of the Lord in Dvaraka and around from your divine mouth inspired us a lot. During the course of your discourses we learnt that “pride comes before a fall,” “people who have pride cannot be humble,” “we cannot see the truth in anger,” “attachment will not allow us to see Krsna,” “our rememberance goes to where we are attached to,” “fruits of piety make one proud,” “pride destroys spiritual strength,” and we feel “no anxiety if we see things in relation to Krsna.” These transcendental truths that came from your divine mouth have touched our heart, Guru Maharaja.

On this auspicious occasion of your divine appearance, we plead the Lord to bestow His Divine Mercy upon your grace to have wonderful health, energy and stamina in serving the goal of your spiritual master His Divine Grace Srila Prabhupada for a long time to come.

Begging your continuous mercy upon our conditioned family,

Your aspiring servants,
Dina Dayal dasa and Kanaka Manjari devi dasi
