Our dear and respected Guru Maharaja,

Please accept our humble obeisances. All glories to Srila Prabhupada!

We wanted to take this opportunity to thank you for bringing to life for us what it means to be in a loving relationship. A few years back you had highlighted for us a section in the Srimad-Bhagavatam dealing with Bali Maharaja’s test by Lord Vamanadeva. The first thing you mentioned was, “Such love they have for one another!” This year particularly, by sharing with us some personal challenges you are facing, we had the honor of experiencing the love between you and Srila Prabhupada and Krsna. We can now realize what forbearance of a devotee means and how it is recorded for his future glorification.

An essential part of growing in a loving relationship with Guru and Krsna is to face the tests in our services that seem impossible to overcome, but to patiently rely on the strength we get from Guru and Krsna to overcome them. Your example in our life gives meaning and tangibility to the scripture that we read and allows us to understand how we can continue in our life of devotion.

We pray that we may always access the strength that you give us to have this unique service opportunity at Sri Sri Kisora Kisori Kisori’s temple. We feel very fortunate to be in your shelter in the warmth of the devotional family that you, Prabhu and Mataji have created for us here.
