I was born in the darkest ignorance, and my spiritual master opened my eyes with the torch of knowledge. I offer my respectful obeisances unto him.

I offer my respectful obeisances unto you master, Srila Prabhupada, all the Vaisnava devotees, and unto Sri Sri Radha Govinda with all Their different manifestations.

On this Vyasa-puja day, I want to say thank you Master for all your blessings. My humble obeisances unto you, and wish many more Vyasa-puja days to come.

Lokanatha dasa Gosvami always desired to remain very far away from reputation, name, fame, and position. If he sprinkled mercy upon someone, he would always tell that person, “Don’t glorify me. Let me remain calm and quiet. This is my final order.” He told Krsnadasa Kaviraja Gosvami, “Don’t write my name in Sri Caitanya-caritamrta. Otherwise, all will know me and glorify me.” He feared glorification, while we desire it. This is our drawback.

Thank you Master, and bless us all to be able to attain the same state of mind as Lokanatha dasa Gosvami, and as you, bona fide spiritual master, so that we may be able to always stay engaged in the loving devotional service of the Supreme Personality of Godhead, wherever we may be.
Please allow me to quote Srila Narottama dasa Thakura’s famous prayer “Sri Guru Carana Padma”

The lotus feet of our spiritual master are the only way by which we can attain pure devotional service. I bow to his lotus feet with great awe and reverence. By his grace one can cross the ocean of material suffering and obtain the mercy of Krsna. (1)

My only wish is to have my consciousness purified by the words emanating from his lotus mouth. Attachment to his lotus feet is the perfection that fulfills all desires. (2)

He opens my darkened eyes and fills my heart with transcendental knowledge. He is my Lord birth after birth. From him ecstatic prema emanates; by him ignorance is destroyed. The Vedic scriptures sing of his character. (3)

Our spiritual master is the ocean of mercy, the friend of the poor, and the lord and master of the devotees. O master! Be merciful unto me. Give me the shade of your lotus feet. Your fame is spread all over the three worlds. (4)

Hare Krsna, Hare Krsna, Krsna Krsna, Hare Hare
Hare Rama, Hare Rama, Rama Rama, Hare Hare

Thanks to you Master, and to all the Vaisnava devotees of the Supreme Personality of Godhead for all your blessings.

Happy Vyasa-puja day to you Master.

Your servant with love at Srila Prabhupada and Sri Sri Radha Govinda ki jaya!
