Hare Krsna Dear Guru Maharaja,

Please accept my humble obeisance’s at Your lotus feet. All glories to Your Divine Grace. All glories to Srila Prabhupada.

Maharaja, this past year has been a year of lot of purification for me. One realization was how I was taking your mercy for granted and how without that mercy how I would be lost. In my travels to India this summer, I very foolishly slackened in hearing your classes for almost a month, and that, compounded with minimal devotee association, made me realize how much my consciousness had shifted and how quickly I moved away from engaging in devotional service.

I realized how you have given us protection in so many ways, one of the most important being through your vani, and how not receiving from the resources that you have given us degraded my consciousness. The only thing good that came about from my experience was that any illusions I had about myself based on my false ego were crushed. While I did not need to go that route to learn the hard way, I realized how much I am dependent on your grace and mercy for my survival in Krsna consciousness.

I have, during my travels this year, realized how it is a big responsibility to be accepted into the disciplic succession, especially under your shelter. I had at least two instances where the devotees, having heard about you being my spiritual master, automatically assumed that I am a very dedicated and serious practitioner of bhakti yoga, not realizing how unworthy I am of being called your disciple and how it is only because of your causeless mercy that you have given me shelter.

On this happy and auspicious occasion of Your Vyasa-puja, I want to express my heartfelt gratitude for everything that you have given us and that you continue to give us unconditionally to help us grow in every aspect of our lives.

On this most auspicious occasion of Your Vyasa-puja, I express my deepest gratitude to Your Holiness for Your unconditional love and pray that my faith and devotion towards You and Krsna will ever increase. I thank You again and again for accepting this fallen soul as Your disciple and giving shelter and protection at Your Divine Lotus Feet despite the anarthas I carry deep in my heart and mind. I thank You for all the unconditional care and love I receive from Your Representatives.

 
I thank You very much for showering Your mercy upon us during the wonderful Dvaraka yatra. I was very much inspired and awe struck by Your sincerity, energy and enthusiasm during the yatra and I pray that I acquire and sustain a tiny drop of Your amazing qualities.

I sincerely pray to You that I become sincere and strong in my path of Krsna consciousness.
