Dear Guru Maharaja,
Please accept my respectful obeisances unto your lotus feet. All glories to you and Srila Prabhupada! All glories to Lord Caitanya’s Sankirtana Movement!
Lord Krsna says in Bhagavad-gita 18.69:
na ca tasman manusyesu
kascin me priya-krttamah
bhavita na ca me tasmad
anyah priyataro bhuvi
“There is no servant in this world more dear to Me than he, nor will there ever be one more dear.”
Dear Guru Maharaja, you live in the teachings of your dear spiritual master and faithfully follow his instructions to spread the gospel of Krsna consciousness. Confronting different burning questions and doubts raised by different audience, you precisely quote the scripture and blend delicate spiritual knowledge into baby food, in this way you skillfully penetrate the heart of the audience by illustrating the profound philosophy in simple, comprehensible and poetic words. As an expert preacher, you always look at others advantages and fan small spark moderately so that their heart is gradually converted and become longing for bhakti. Therefore, among the humans, you are the hero who are very dear to Lord Krsna, krsna-presthaya. May I always meditate upon your heroic characteristics!
Lord Krsna says in Bhagavad-gita 10.38, jnanam jnanavatam aham: “of the wise I am the wisdom.” Dear Guru Maharaja, you carry the transcendental wisdom with which you cut off knots of ignorance and destroy demons of doubts on the battlefield of my unclean heart. In this way, you lead this helpless and hopeless fallen ‘soldier’ get up with the courage and bravely declare the war against powerful Maya. Therefore, you are the hero in the heart of this ‘soldier’. Because of your presence in the form of divya jnana, I am confident that victory belongs to the faithful and fearless soldier. May such victory come upon me by your kind glance!
Dear Guru Maharaja, when I am shifted into another channel of your personal conversation with your spiritual children and followers, you naturally change solemn image into affectionate father. You patiently listen to sorrow and joy poured out by your children and followers, you sharply point out the root cause of the problems and practically provide solutions accordingly just as an expert heart surgeon skillfully performs heart operation. As spiritual father, you show the perfect way of education and training to your spiritual children by your exemplary fatherly love and strictness. Dear Guru Maharaja, in such a mood, please allow me to express my innermost thoughts and feelings: dear Baba, you are the heroic father in my heart. May I inherit your bhakti spirit and let the same bhakti spirit become my nature!
Dear Guru Maharaja, this is my sincere offering unto your lotus feet, hope this offering brings my heart under the shelter of your lotus feet!
