This occasion of celebrating your divine appearance day, Vyasa-puja, is very special as it awards the opportunity to glorify you, my eternal spiritual master and the carrier of Krsna’s divine mercy on this unfortunate fallen conditioned soul. Now, due to your mercy, this unfortunate soul has become fortunate and has the greatest opportunity to purify his own existence and become Krsna conscious.
Guru Maharaja, you constantly engage in krsna-katha. You immerse yourself in the scriptures and then pass on the handpicked jewels from the scriptures in an easy to digest and practical manner. Your messages are relatable to real life issues and if practiced sincerely help to serve Krsna in day-to-day activities of life.
Hearing your recorded lectures helps me get out of the slumber of ignorance and hence I attempt to regularly hear your lectures to remain fixed on the path of pure devotional service by associating and serving the devotees.
You are constantly attempting to pull us ahead on the path of bhakti by arranging various dhama yatras, seminars and by your visits to various parts of the world to assist the devotees in their Krsna conscious lives.
Also, you are constantly engaged in various services for expanding the mission of Srila Prabhupada and never spend any moment otherwise. You have taught by your example to never waste time and always serve Krsna at each and every moment.
Guru Maharaja, you have dedicated your life to Srila Prabhupada and to serve his mission is the only objective of your life. To please Srila Prabhupada by making and training wonderful devotees is the way you want to reciprocate for the gifts which you have received from your spiritual master. Your gratitude to Srila Prabhupada is expressed when you encourage all devotees to scrutinizingly study and practice the teachings of Srila Prabhupada presented through his books.
Guru Maharaja, in 2004 at Vrndavana, I had the fortune to have your darsana for the first time. My heart was deeply touched when you instructed me to chant the Hare Krsna maha-mantra with all my heart. That moment itself, I accepted you as my eternal spiritual master.
One of the most wonderful gifts which you have bestowed is the guidance and association of Jagadananda Prabhuji and Ananda Vrndavana Mataji. As I do not understand the English language, Jagadananda Prabhuji has made arrangements for the daily translation of your recorded lectures in Hindi which has helped me to understand your instructions and also your mood of service. I am deeply grateful for their continued association.
I pray for your continued shelter and the strength to fully follow your instructions.
