Dear Gurudeva,
Please accept my sincere obeisances, all glories to Srila Prabhupada, all glories to you, all glories to your auspicious appearance day.
Dear Gurudeva (father), we are embracing your auspicious appearance day again. Thank you Gurudeva for your causeless mercy on this soul. I remember the first initiation. When I learned that Gurudeva was going to initiate me, I felt that I had not met the standard and was not qualified for initiation. However, Gurudeva being full of compassion and empowered with spiritual vision saved me by giving hope and mercy to this fallen soul. I received the first initiation and the holy name from you. I always remember my commitment to you Gurudeva at the time of my initiation, that is to regulate my speech, behavior and sadhana (focus on chanting the holy name), learn sastras, learn some skills to enrich myself to do the service better, and try my best to be a qualified disciple.
Later, I was filled with joy when I learned that Gurudeva (father) was going to give three of us second initiation. But I again felt that the second initiation was too far away for me and I was too unqualified. Yet by your causeless mercy and spiritual strength you gave us the second initiation and Gayatri mantra. At that time, we three disciples felt that no words could express our gratitude to our dear Gurudeva (father). Although we received second initiation, for me the most important thing is to follow in your footsteps closely and always remind myself to control the senses, speech and behaviors, and be a lady with a soft heart.
All along I feel what a kind father Gurudeva is. Whenever we encounter difficulties, Gurudeva (father) always considers by putting himself in our shoes, comforts us, helps us solve the current difficulties, meets our wishes and gives us causeless mercy. I feel grateful to you Gurudeva (father).
Dear Gurudeva (father), on your auspicious appearance day I wish you good health and all success in your missionary work. Please once again accept my most humble obeisances.
